Agility Trainer

Tricia Robarts, dog groomer and breeder of pedigree Portend sheep, been training for staffs agility school for approx 6 years.

‘In her own words’:

Got interested in agility after watching the Olympia qualifiers which were held at the Royal Agricultural Show, then started training my Collie/Terrier cross who disliked other dogs too much to actually compete. Started competing in 2000 with my Dalmatian, then two years later with my Cavalier.

Have now competed with 2 Dalmatians and 2 Cavaliers, both Dalis have won the North of England Club Agility Show, and present Dali has one win towards gr 6. Both Cavis have competed in the small team event at Crufts and the Small/Medium pairs event, which is now held at Discover Dogs, London,  both have run in the Nation’s Cup at the Kennel Club Festival for Scotland,  picking up second and third places. Both Cavis have competed at championship level.

I love seeing dogs/owners that I have helped to train getting it together and in some cases competing happily and successfuly.
